Poonam Walia, CFP®, joined Highland Financial Group in 2011 with over 9 years of financial experience working with professionals and business owners. She works to create a
comfortable, confidential environment where clients are free to discuss their financial and personal concerns. Poonam helps her clients plan for all their future needs whether it is college funding, retirement, or estate issues.
With an extensive background in financial and planning issues, Poonam holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University and a B.S. from Delhi University. She is a lifelong learner and routinely attends seminars and conferences to keep her skills current so she can provide exceptional client service.
In her free time, Poonam satisfies her creative side by cooking and baking for her friends and family. She has a great passion for travelling, adventure and experiencing different cultures and lifestyles.
Poonam resides with her husband and little Tessa (her dog) in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. She has two daughters that are pursuing their careers.
